Can We talk straight? When it comes to Glock
pistols there is a lot of Bull capital S with a
HIT in the aftermarket
which is advertised to make you think the accessories are going to
make
your Glock better, or even worse, make you a better shooter. I know
you can't wait to
soup-up that brand new Glock but the truth is:
Your Glock is the best it can be right out of
the box.

Save your money and quit filling-up that
hell-box in your closet with crap designed
to appeal and not function. I know from experience
because my hell-box contains a lot of
experiments I thought were going
to make me a better shooter. The only thing that's going
to make
you a better shooter is shooting, period, dot, end-of-line.
That said, there are a few accessories which really do
add to your comfort. I'm patient, so I'll wait while you try out
those gotta-have rubber, sandpaper or skate tape grips only to find they grab your clothing when
you draw and leave you with blisters after 4 hours on the range.
When you're done, try my AGRIPS and find the non-slip comfort you've
been looking for while you become a true believer. If you are
bothered by your dangling little finger while shooting your Baby Glock
try the SCHERER and PEARCE FINGER GRIPS - they are tried, tested and really do
work.
I do not
sell laser sights on my web site, nor will I ever until I actually know
of a SWAT, police or military agency that uses lasers. To my
knowledge, Hollywood and gun show commando's are the only group that appears to use lasers.
I do see a value for laser sights for those with extremely poor eyesight
or who have a disease of the eye limiting vision. I might consider
selling lasers if the premier shooting and combat schools would endorse
the use of a laser beam over the tried and true front-sight method of
combat sighting. Gun sights are the fastest way to place a shot,--
chasing a laser dot around wastes precious time at the exact moment you
have very little time to spare. Keep your iron sights and save your
money for other toys. Instead of laser sights, consider purchasing
a good set of night sights for your carry gun. Night sights won't
impress your friends with a red dot on the ceiling, but they will help
you find the front sight in low or dim light conditions.
If you need to replace a worn or broken (unusual)
part on your Glock then buy original Glock factory parts. Glock
parts were made to function with the Glock design. Glock springs
were made to deliver the proper resistance or absorb the weight of the
slide during recoil. If there were better materials then Glock
would be using them in their pistols.
