These are the two best books I have read
dealing with self-protection and that is why they are on my website
for-sale. The older I get, the less tolerant I am of doo-dah and
B.S. -- and I get into a lot of trouble calling it like I sees-it.
So when I recommend a Conceal Carry or Self-Defense book, You can be
sure it will fulfill your need for knowledge because I'm calling a
spade, a spade. In my
estimation these two self-protection books give you the most amount of
knowledge of all the conceal carry books I've read. "In the
Gravest Extreme" is such a straight forward, comprehensive, personal
protection book that I used it as a text book in my CCW Classes.
The Concealed Handgun Manual is a
down-to-earth read, written in plain English, that will fulfill your
need for knowledge on conceal carry and related subjects. It is
written as a suggested How-
To, but leaves you lots of room to make up your own mind as to the type
of handgun you choose and how you want to carry that handgun concealed.
My copies are personalized with
underlines, highlights and comments in the margin -- I hope you will USE
your copy too. Don't let your copy of these excellent book become
a dead-book -- use them, write in them, put comments where you think the
author is totally right, or even wrong. Circle the parts that
really hit home. Enjoy and use your copies because a live book can
really talk to you.
