I always get a sample of a new
product to try before I spend the time programming a web page - just
in case the product is not worthy of my customers expectations.
Well, I'm here to tell you that "Baaz" sheepskin gun wipes are quite
worthy and are also worthy of inclusion in your gun cleaning kit.
How do they work? Just apply your favorite gun oil (mine is
SuperFine) to the fleece side of the Baaz Gun Wipes, and rub it over
the exposed metal. When finished, drop the Baaz into a
zip-lock sandwich bag and place it in your gun cleaning kit for the
next cleaning date. My
next question is probably the same as Yours: "How do you clean
them when they finally get all black and dirty"? Simple, wash
them like any other cleaning rag. I prefer a shallow bucket
with a Simple Green™
and water solution. Air dry after a clean water rinse (Guy's!
- do not put them in a dryer). If you are brave, and your wife
is not home, you can wash them in the washing machine. Baaz
are also perfect for oiling furniture or applying any liquid (not
harmful to organics), to any surface.
You can also use them for cleaning your
firearm by wetting with your favorite gun cleaner, just make sure
your cleaner is not harmful to organics (MPro 7 is a good choice).
Do not store the gun oil Baaz with the gun cleaner Bazz -- use
separate containers. There are other possible uses for Baaz
for you and the Misses but this is a family show so I'll end at the
period. ;) |
